Job summary

Altis Technology in Kitchener is seeking an experienced people leader to guide front-line staff in a fast-paced transportation services environment. You will manage daily operations, drive performance, and ensure a welcoming, compliant customer experience.

You will collaborate with customer service professionals, driver examiners, management and external partners to keep operations running smoothly while shaping team culture and service quality.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of supervisory experience, including coaching, performance management and team development.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Customer Service Agent and/or Driver Examiner role.
  • Strong knowledge of graduated driver licensing, related legislation, regulations and operational policies.
  • Knowledge of CSA and Driver Examiner duties, including basic CSA transactions and G1/G2 road testing, or the ability to obtain required certification.
  • Strong customer service, communication, decision-making, organization and change-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines and remain effective in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily customer service and driver examination activities, coordinating workflow, staffing coverage and operational priorities.
  • Coach and support employees, monitor performance, identify training needs and address performance concerns.
  • Oversee service quality, ensuring activities are accurate, complete, timely and aligned with established standards and KPIs.
  • Provide technical guidance on licensing systems, processes and procedures, including troubleshooting operational issues.
  • Lead staff meetings and support communication across teams, offices and external agencies.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy workplace and ensure compliance with applicable health and safety requirements.
  • Step into customer service or driver examination duties when operationally required.
