Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a Part-time Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant to join our Regina team in Saskatchewan. The role reports to the Central Fill Manager and works under a pharmacist's supervision, with weekend shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities include assembling prescriptions, labeling, packaging, quality checks, and inventory management to ensure accurate production and timely delivery for LTC and community patients.

Qualifications

• Preference for candidates with previous experience in a pharmacy or production facility, including Pharmacy Assistant and Kroll experience
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Professional image, grooming, and a positive attitude with effective communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers
• Successful candidates must complete a Criminal Record Check due to the sensitive nature of the position

• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional workplace, and check packaging before delivery
• Conduct quality checks, identify production issues, and propose continuous improvement methods
• Ensure timely and accurate production processes, prepare production reports, and requisition supplies as needed
• Operate machinery aligned with the computer system and provide strategic solutions to meet production objectives
• Perform miscellaneous tasks to support the Store Operator, Pharmacist, and central fill operations
