Neighbourly Pharmacy in Regina, Saskatchewan is seeking a Part-time Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This role supports the Central Fill operations under a pharmacist and reports to the Central Fill Manager.

The role focuses on dispensing support, Pacmed machine operation, packaging for LTC homes, inventory management, and quality checks to ensure accurate and timely production. We value strong organization, teamwork, and a professional image, with weekend shifts on Saturdays

Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmacy or production facility preferred.
• Experience with Pharmacy Assistant duties and Kroll is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional image and good communication with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

Job description

Rubicon Health Solutions (Fulfilment Centre Regina) is looking for a Part-time Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Central Fill Manager and work under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Perform dispensing functions in compliance with provincial regulations and company standards, including assembling prescription medications, counting, labelling, and compounding prescriptions
• Pacmed machine operation: running, rolling, sealing, packaging, and performing quality checks.
• Prepare compliance packaging for LTC homes and operate automated packaging equipment
• Manage inventory, ordering, processing, and receiving materials to ensure production efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional workplace, and check packaging before delivery
• Conduct quality checks, identify production issues, and propose continuous improvement methods
• Ensure timely and accurate production processes, prepare production reports, and requisition supplies as needed
• Operate machinery aligned with the computer system and provide strategic solutions to meet production objectives
• Perform miscellaneous tasks to support the Store Operator, Pharmacist, and central fill operations

Qualifications

• Preference for candidates with previous experience in a pharmacy or production facility, including Pharmacy Assistant and Kroll experience
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Professional image, grooming, and a positive attitude with effective communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers
• Ability to maintain a professional attitude and image while meeting the requirements of the role
• Successful candidates must complete a Criminal Record Check due to the sensitive nature of the position

Schedule: (Weekends)

• 16 hours per week.
• The regular shifts will be on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
