General Scope of Responsibilities:
To provide technical expertise and support as part of the Corporate Engineering team. All team members work on every aspect of project. Define scope, program (PLC and HMI), create drawings, safety, budget creation, purchasing, schedule, testing, and the implementation on site. We also have a wide project scope in budget and size. Required technical skills will be challenged and improved within our team.
Specific Responsibilities:
Reporting Relationships:
This position reports directly to the central engineering electrical team leader.
Supervision Received: The associate carries out the work within broad guidelines, such as objectives, definitions, and budget. The associate’s recommendations are reviewed for soundness of judgment, but are normally accepted as technically accurate and feasible and in conformance with assigned objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Education/Experience: Bachelor of electrical or automation engineering. Two to five years’ work experience in the field of specialization related to the industry.
Skills:
Effort & Working Conditions: Normal work environment allows the associate to sit comfortably and move about freely, not confined to a workstation. There may be some need to lift light articles. The physical environment is clean and climate-controlled within a partitioned workstation. There is somewhat frequent involvement in the manufacturing environment. Sensory attention is required to read reports, do keyboarding with additional need to read engineering specifications and operate the CAD system. The associate has frequent customer contact and normal business travel.
