RESPONSIBILITIES

• Excellent customer service to customers, by assisting and providing information, product knowledge.
• Maintain good knowledge of till and cash‑related duties.
• Assist with sales in all departments as required.
• Stock & display products to present a neat, clean, well‑merchandised department.
• Selling, loading and recording sales according to all regulations in all commodities.
• Maintain and clean equipment regularly.
• Housekeeping of facilities.
• Provide gas pump services.
• Assist with inventory control, receiving & merchandising of products.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Has a valid Class 5 Driver's License or higher.
• Obtain company‑provided training that includes, but is not limited to TDG, WHMIS & forklift certification.
• Knowledge of hardware, Farm Center experience or farm background an asset.
• Strong computer skills. Be able to work as part of a team or independently.
• Physically able to do heavy lifting.
• Adhere to company loss prevention, security and safety policies and procedures.
• This position is classified as Safety Sensitive: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co‑ops Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
• Average 24-40 hours/week.
