Job summary

Métis Nation-Saskatchewan is seeking an Assistant Center Supervisor in Prince Albert to oversee a newly licensed 90-space early learning centre for infants to preschool. You will lead staff, manage programming and enrollment, and ensure a safe, enriching environment aligned with Métis culture.

Knowledge of Early Childhood Education, licensing requirements, and ministry policies is essential. This role offers community impact and growth within MN–S’s childcare programs.

Qualifications

• ECE Level 3 required.
• Experience supervising staff is preferred.
• Knowledge of Métis culture is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Early Learning Centre, including budgeting and enrollment.
• Lead and support staff, addressing issues and performance.
• Ensure Métis Curriculum is implemented consistently.
• Collaborate with MN–S Childcare Coordinator for updates to the Board.
• Maintain strong relationships with families through clear communication.
• Support program delivery and community engagement with MN–S staff and contractors.
