TRICAN is hiring a Cement Bulk Driver/Operator in Fort St. John. The role focuses on the safe operation of equipment at customer locations, during travel and at the station, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety as the priority in all activities.
• Operate semi tractors and trailers in all conditions.
• Participate in incident investigations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required forms.
• Attend pre-job safety meetings on location.
• Inspect and configure all equipment properly.
• Operate equipment safely and responsibly.
• Rig-out equipment for travel.
• Maintain units and auxiliary equipment.
• Consult with supervisor and crew regarding operational deficiencies.

The Cement Bulk Driver/Operator is responsible for the safe operation of equipment on customer location, during travel and while in station.

Responsibilities:

• Operate semi tractors and trailers in all conditions
• Participate in the investigation of incidents
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
• Attend pre-job safety meetings on location
• Inspect and properly configure all equipment
• Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Rig-out (disassemble) all equipment for travel
• Maintain units and auxiliary equipment
• Consult with supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies

Experience & Skills:
