Job summary

The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education is hiring bus drivers for permanent, probationary, and casual positions across designated routes. Successful applicants will operate school buses, follow CCRCE policies, and ensure student safety during pickup and drop-off on assigned runs.

Applicants must have a Grade 12 diploma, a Class 2BDriver's license (Air) with a clean abstract, and complete any required driver training.

Introduction The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education invites applications for the following positions for Permanent, Probationary and Temporary (Casual) employees, and external applicants. Positions will be awarded in order of seniority.

Minimum Requirements - Minimum of Grade 12 high school diploma or academic equivalent through educational programs such as Graduated Equivalent Diploma (GED).

• - Must hold a valid driver's license, Class 2B with Air Certification
• - Provide a stisfatal Driver Abstract (obtained from the Registry of Motor Vehicles) as applicable.
• - Where needed, prospective candidates will be required to successfully complete the Driver Training Program conducted by Pupil Transportation staff before commencing employment in any Bus Driver position.
