Job summary

South East Cornerstone Public School Division is seeking an energetic School Bus Driver for Route #83-306. Begin ASAP with end date January 10, 2027. Temporary tenure with approx. 5 hours per day in split shift, driving students to and from school.

The successful candidate will hold a Class 5 Driver's License with S Endorsement, possess First Aid & CPR, and maintain a clear driving record. Training provided if qualifications are not yet met.

Job description

South East Cornerstone Public School Division is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and fun person to fill the role of School Bus Driver. If you are a parent or grandparent who currently drives students to and from school, you are an ideal individual to fill this role. For parents with non-school age children we can provide certain safety seating so they can accompany you and their older sibling(s).

End Date: January 10, 2027

Hours of Work:

Approximately 5 hours per day, split shift

Duties:

In addition to those duties outlined in the job description, duties include transporting students to and from school.

Qualifications:

• Class 5 Driver's License with "S" Endorsement
• First Aid & CPR
• Clear Driver's Abstract
• Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division

Salary & Benefits:

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated CUPE 4869 Collective Agreement as listed on our website www.secpsd.ca. The starting wage for this position is currentlya daily rate of $88.53 plus $0.17per kilometeralong with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
