Job summary

Bumper to Bumper Canada is seeking a Category Manager in Boucherville to drive category strategies across our core distribution channels, including corporate stores, independent customers and e‑commerce. You will shape product assortments, pricing and promotions to deliver sustainable growth.

You will report to the Director of Products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory, profitability and market share while aligning with seasonal and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a product management or similar role.
• Experience in the retail and/or wholesale distribution is required.
• Bilingual (French and English).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for driving strategies and critical business functions to meet KPIs, sales, margin and profitability.
• Implementing strategic roadmap for product categories with cross-functional partners.
• Designing and coordinating merchandising plans to drive market shares and align with trends.
• Reviewing pricing strategies and proposing new pricing to increase market share and inventory velocity.
• Coordinating product selection and cross-functional execution for national flyers.
• Managing store planograms to assure optimal product mix and replenishment.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

You will be reporting to the Director of Products and you will have the responsibility to think broadly and cross-functionally making sure that the company’s core distribution channels of corporate stores, independent customers and e-commerce are successful at providing the right tools and equipment product assortment meeting market requirements to drive sustainable and profitable growth with an optimal level of investments.

• Accountable of driving strategies and critical business functions to ensure that categories KPIs, sales, gross margin, inventory, service levels and total profitability goals are met ;
• Implementing strategic roadmap of developing product categories in collaboration with key cross-functional business and technology partners, owning timeline ;
• Designing and coordinating cross-functionally a complete merchandising plan to drive market shares of core product categories meeting seasonal, industry trends and in market requirements supported by KPIs to assess level of success achieved ;
• Reviewing pricing strategies and recommending new, creative pricing strategies to increase market shares, margin contribution and inventory velocity ;
• Coordinating the products selection and the cross-functional execution to produce and distribute commercial flyers on a national basis according to an established calendar ;
• Managing the planograms of our own stores to assure best products selection to each market and seasonal needs, and working cross-functionally to assure right location, pricing and replenishment ;
• Cross-functionally defining and executing store merchandising programs and promotions to drive sales and profitability ;
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience ;
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a product management or similar role ;
• Experience in the retail and/or wholesale distribution is required ;
• Strong self-initiatives with a sense of urgency to act ;
• Bilingual (French and English) ;
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to change.
