Job summary

Bumper to Bumper, Uni-Select’s flagship brand, is hiring for a warehouse position in Canada. You will be responsible for receiving products into the distribution center, and may assist with picking, packing and shipping as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Computer literacy is mandatory.
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains storage and distribution of product by pulling orders from warehouse to staging / shipping area or re-stocking products on shelves.
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock, recording location of inventory.
  • Locates parts by pulling and verifying product numbers listed on pick orders.
  • Prepares stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, and staging product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Packs, prints labels and prepares orders for shipping.
  • Assists Inbound Team as required, receiving materials, verifying quantity, placing materials in stock.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

Important information:

The schedule of this role is from Monday to Friday from 10am to 6:30pm

Expertise & Essential Skills:
  • Previous work experience in a similar role is a definitive asset.
  • Must be in good physical condition (ability to stand, walk, sit, and handle parts).
  • Must be capable of lift parts up to 50 pounds (23kg).
  • Ability to work with rolling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, carts).
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Possess ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Computer literacy (mandatory).
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset.
  • Available on occasion to work outside regular business hours.
  • Organized and self-disciplined.
  • Task oriented.
  • Diplomatic and tactful in communication.
  • Maintain spirit of cooperation with co-workers.
