A leading insurance provider in York Region, Vaughan is seeking a dedicated claims adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and settle property claims following catastrophic weather events. The ideal candidate will have experience in property and/or auto claims and a relevant educational background with a CIP designation or progress towards it. Qualifications

• Previous claims experience is considered an asset.
• Educational background must include relevant post-secondary education.
• Working knowledge of Insurance Act is required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, analyze, negotiate and settle property claims.
• Contact and coordinate all parties involved in the claims process.
• Prepare and maintain various reports on property claims.
