Overview

DWF Adjusting (Canada) Ltd. part of the DWF Group, an award-winning global legal and insurance service business, is currently recruiting for a Casualty Claims Adjuster to join their independent adjusting business in Ontario.

This position is primarily focused on casualty claims. The Casualty Claims Adjuster will be responsible for investigating, reporting, and progressing a caseload of insurance claims to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for clients, ensuring high levels of service delivery, both internally and externally, while maintaining management information under the terms of the client’s service level agreement.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for investigating and reporting on a caseload of casualty / liability insurance claims
  • Progressing a caseload of insurance claims to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for clients
  • Ensure high levels of service deliveries, both internally and externally
  • Areas of expertise:
  • Commercial General Liability
  • Construction Claims including:
    • Builders Risk/Course of Construction
    • Wrap-Up Liability
  • Professional Liability
  • Environmental Liability
  • Medical Malpractice
Requirements
  • 5 years+ adjusting OR 7-8 years’ of examining experience in casualty claims.
  • A prior Independent Adjuster’s Licence or having the required courses to obtain a Probationary License in Ontario.
  • Innovative and flexible approach as well as strong organisational / time management skills.

  • Be organised, energetic, and articulate.
  • University Degree; College Diploma; Completion of or working towards, the CIP/FCIP are assets.
