Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. in Alberta offers winter casual road maintenance roles from October 1 to April 30. If you hold a Class 1, 2 or 3 license, you can join a safety‑driven team keeping Alberta highways safe in your local community.

We provide industry leading wages, training, and opportunities for career growth within our diversified company. You will operate snowplow trucks and other heavy equipment, perform highway maintenance tasks, and be on-call for weather events and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Successful completion pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement.
• Clear 3-year driver’s abstract.
• Experience operating a snowplow or wheel loader is an asset; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment.
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways and assist with Labourer duties.
• Be available for on-call work during weather events and emergencies.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
