Job summary

Connective is a dynamic nonprofit in Canada providing social services and inclusive programming for residents in Prince George. This role focuses on casework, planning, and ensuring safe operation of the facility, supporting recovery-oriented goals.

The position requires collaboration with staff and community partners, crisis-response skills, and commitment to client-centered care across shifts including mornings, evenings, and overnights.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a related human/social service field with minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with crisis situations and diverse populations, including First Nations communities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in assessment, goal setting, and program planning for residents.
• Evaluate client needs and develop short-term plans with input from residents and families.
• Coordinate with social workers, outreach staff, and community partners to implement plans.
• Assist residents with daily living skills and community activities.
• Monitor safety and respond to potential emergencies.
