Position Information

Join our team as a Supply Attendant!

Supply Attendants are key members of the supply chain, responsible for maintaining service levels for all supplies in clinical areas and other supported sites across The Ottawa Hospital. They ensure their assigned areas are properly serviced with supplies and handle other tasks from Supply/Logistical Services.

Rotation/Shifts

The Ottawa Hospital is accepting resumes for upcoming casual (On-Call) positions.

  • Positions may be located at the Civic, General, Riverside Campus, or other TOH Satellite locations.
  • Rotation: Various Shifts
  • Minimum availability: 2/3 weekends, 8 shifts during 12 statutory holidays, 8 weeks from June 1 to September 30, and 5 shifts between December 23 and January 3, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year's Day.
What You Will Do
  1. Count and verify all supply items with handheld scanners to produce and process orders, and verify receipt into the supply system.
  2. Replenish stock and rotate supplies to ensure they are current and properly rotated.
  3. Support clinical and support areas by ensuring their supply and equipment needs are met.
  4. Track shortages and discrepancies from the warehouse and report findings to address issues through the supply chain and central distribution centre.
What You Will Bring
  • Grade 12 or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D test).
  • Completion of "Principles of Inventory Control" or "Principles of Logistics" course from the PMAC Program, or equivalent.
  • OR one (1) year of experience in an inventory control environment.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
