Job summary

The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education invites applications for temporary custodians across Colchester, East Hants, Pictou, and Cumberland counties. This casual position has no guaranteed hours and offers $24.68 per hour under the CCRCE/CUPE Collective Agreement.

Applicants must have Grade 12 or GED, a valid NS driver's license, and be willing to obtain WHMIS/first aid. You will provide your own transportation to worksites and complete the Custodial Training Program before starting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Possess a valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License.
• Experience/knowledge in modern cleaning methods, materials and equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and custodial duties across CCRCE sites.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in school facilities.
• Report maintenance issues as needed.
