Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education in Nova Scotia is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year for the Casual Early Childhood Educator list. This is day-to-day work only, at various schools within CCRCE.

Applicants must have a diploma or degree in early childhood education, recent experience with preschoolers, and current First Aid/ CPR-C certification. Criminal record check for vulnerable sector and child abuse register are required.

The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year for the Casual Early Childhood Educator list. This is for day-to-day work only .

Rate of Pay: $16.75/hr. to $17.41/hr.

Locations: Various Schools within the Chignecto-Central Regional Center for Education

Geographical Area: Pictou County, Cumberland County, Municipality of East Hants and Colchester County

Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in early childhood education from a recognized institution.
• Recent experience (within last 5 years) working with pre-school children in an early learning environment; and,
• Current certification in First Aid/CPR-C
