Qualifications

• PTA/OTA diploma or degree in kinesiology or a related healthcare field.
• Experience in LTC setting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising Physiotherapist with treatment plans for residents.
• Deliver prescribed treatments including gait training, balance, ROM, and modalities.
• Lead dynamic, safe group exercise classes for residents.
• Set up and prepare equipment, and clean treatment spaces.
• Ensure that gym and treatment areas are safe and tidy, and report changes to the physiotherapist.
• Record daily treatments in Senior Wellness' web-based system.
