NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in Canada is seeking an instructor for their Landscape Architectural Technology diploma program. The successful candidate will deliver engaging educational experiences and support student success through effective instructional strategies and assessments.
Candidates should have a degree in Landscape Architecture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an academic team. Experience with landscape architecture practice and software like SketchUp and AutoCAD is important.

NAIT’s Landscape Architectural Technology diploma program is accredited by the Alberta Association of Landscape Architects and is the only Landscape Architectural Technologist program recognized by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects.
The Landscape Architectural Technology program is designed for those who want to create outdoor spaces that enhance public environments. Students will learn how to design spaces that future generations will use and enjoy. They will explore the practice of landscape architecture and the technologies used to produce designs and construction drawings for a variety of outdoor environments, including streetscapes, plazas, parks, trails, entry features and wayfinding signage.
The successful candidate will be an energetic, empathetic, and student‑focused instructor with a demonstrated commitment to motivating learners and supporting academic achievement. The role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and experience delivering adult education in a post‑secondary or skills‑based learning environment.
Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services (WES), International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or the Comparative Education Services (CES).
This position is covered by the NAIT Academic Staff Association (NASA) Collective Agreement.
