Job summary

Women's College Hospital is seeking a Casual Health Records Clerk to join the Women’s College Academic Family Health Team. The role focuses on chart maintenance, data integrity, and responding to inquiries while working within a fast-paced health records environment.

Qualifications

• Familiar with privacy and confidentiality regulations governing personal health information.
• Experience in Health Records Department, Clinic or Hospital is an asset.
• Experience with EMR, preferably PSS.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, deliver and file charts.
• Scan, categorize and post reports into EMR from multiple sources (mail, fax, efax, email, HRM).
• Support data quality and integrity of medical reports in PSS/EMR.
• Respond to telephone inquiries and perform general clerical duties.
• Coordinate data quality and integrity of secretarial inputs into PSS/EMR.
