Brockville General Hospital is seeking a Health Records Technician on a temporary full-time basis in the Health Records department. The role focuses on accurate coding (DAD/NACRS) for clinical reports and contributing to hospital-wide quality and risk management initiatives.
The candidate must be a graduate of an approved Health Information Management program, hold CHIMA certification, and be an active CHIMA member in good standing. Familiarity with CIHI guidelines and ICD-10/CCI is required.

The Health Record Technician is responsible for the timely and accurate coding of clinical reports as required by provincial and federal standards. The Health Records Technician Participates in service and hospital-wide activities and programs that model and promote a safe and healthy patient-centered environment and that contribute to quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
