Nicola Valley Health Centre in Merritt, BC, is hiring a casual Switchboard, Cashier, Registration & Health Records Clerk to join our patient services team. You will operate the switchboard, register patients, manage health records, and handle cashier duties in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

We offer flexible hours (0–37.5 per week), shift premiums, employer-paid training, and opportunities to move into permanent roles.

Qualificações

• Typing test required: 5-minute test (45+ NWPM) from a recognized institution within the past 48 months.
• Resume outlining one year of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Cover Letter stating availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work.

Responsabilidades

• Operates switchboard and public address system; direct patients and visitors.
• Registers patients and manages health records, including releases of information.
• Performs cashier duties: receiving payments and recording in cash journals.
• Maintains supply inventory by ordering stock for clinical and administrative needs.
