Job summary

Qualifications

• A sound knowledge and background in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing including activation, nursing, and personnel administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and with other services in the residence.
• Leads shift report with health care team members and informs of changes in residents’ status.
• Records significant changes in residents’ condition and documents in the chart per policies.
• Reviews and processes physician orders and communicates difficulties to leadership.
