Job summary

Holy Spirit Catholic School Division is seeking casual Education Assistants to work on an on-call basis across Division Schools in Alberta. Positions follow CUPE 1825 Support Staff collective agreement.

Candidates must have an Education Assistant Certificate or Diploma, with priority for Brain Story Certification. Experience with students with special programming needs is required, and confidentiality is essential in supporting a cooperative school community.

Qualifications

• Education Assistant Certificate and/or Diploma or Rehabilitation Practitioner Certificate and/or Diploma.
• Special consideration for Brain Story Certification (Alberta Family Wellness).
• At least one year of experience with students with special programming needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with varying degrees of need in the learning environment under supervision.
• Collaborate with inclusive education liaison, classroom teacher, and principal.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in team-based learning settings.
