Job summary

These positions are on-call and as-needed, offering a flexible opportunity to support students and staff. Educational Assistants support student learning in the classroom environment and other educational settings. These individuals ensure the students "come first" and have the support they need to create a positive, friendly and safe learning environment.

The Duties Of An Educational Assistant Are To

• Supporting students with special needs to promote student independence and student empowerment.
• Working closely with students to meet their learning needs and building strong foundations to create bright futures for all our students as "Students Come First".
• Performing physically demanding work including lifting up to 40 lbs, bending and twisting to perform student transfers, personal needs etc.
• Working collaboratively as a team member, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The Successful Candidate Will Have The Desired Qualifications
