Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a casual/supply/substitute worker at the Hermitage, AB centre. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 with government wage enhancement and no evenings or weekends.

Benefits include a 40% childcare discount for full-time staff and 10% for part-time staff, with additional health and retirement options. Qualifications include ECE Level 1 Certification or B.Ed./Equivalent, and current First Aid/CPR plus immunization health checks as required by the

Qualifications

• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment per local Health Requirements
• Experience with BrightPath curriculum is a plus

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
