BrightPath Kids in Springbank area, AB, is hiring an Early Childhood Educator on a casual/supply basis. The role offers $17.00 per hour with government wage enhancement and no evenings or weekends.

You will work with teachers and families to create a home-away-from-home environment, implementing BrightPath's curriculum and ensuring child well-being. Benefits include a childcare discount and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education credential required (Level 1 or higher).
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR are required.
• Must meet provincial childcare employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education - Level 1 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
