Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Burlington, ON is seeking a Casual Early Childhood Educator/Assistant to join our supportive team. You will work alongside teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care.

Responsibilities include assisting with classroom instruction, maintaining a safe and organized environment, engaging children in activities, and collaborating with staff and families. We offer a childcare discount, professional development and a retirement plan for eligible

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required, Early Childhood Assistant Certification, or RECE.
• Meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.

• Interacting with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.

What will you be doing?
As an Casual Early Childhood Educator/Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.

Requirements:

• High School/Equivalent required, Early Childhood Assistant Certification, or Registered Early Childhood Educator
