Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking an Early Childhood Educator/Assistant at the Leaside, ON location to work alongside teachers and families to care for children in our program. You will assist with instruction, promote safety and involvement, and collaborate with staff and families to create a nurturing home away from home.

Requirements include High School/Equivalent, Early Childhood Assistant Certification or R.E.C.E., First Aid and infant CPR, immunizations, and program planning experience.

• Ability to work with teachers and families to provide a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator/Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.

Requirements:

• High School/Equivalent required, Early Childhood Assistant Certification, or Registered Early Childhood Educator
• Must meet province requirement for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.
