Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Leaside, ON is seeking an Early Childhood Educator/Assistant for a casual/supply role working with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. You will assist with instruction and support a safe, engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities include fostering child involvement, collaborating with families, attending meetings, and keeping materials organized.

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent required.
• Early Childhood Assistant Certification or Registered Early Childhood Educator.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.

• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Interacting with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.

• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

Requirements:
