Karis Disability Services is seeking a Casual Direct Support Professional in the Bradford West Gwillimbury area of Ontario. CASUAL DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

The Relief Support provides call-in or back-fill support to people supported. They assist with activities of daily living and work within the protocols of the location. They work with other employees on shift to provide supports and services to people. Working within Karis Disability Services Service Principles, the Relief Support considers each person's intrinsic value.

Requirements:

• Access to reliable transportation

Preferred:

• 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
