Job summary

DHL Express in Calgary, AB is seeking a Casual Courier Driver on-call, Monday to Friday 9:30–18:00, to support courier and warehouse operations.

You will drive a van and a 5-ton truck for deliveries and pickups, handle bulky shipments, perform warehouse tasks, and maintain safety and accuracy in reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Broad general working knowledge of warehouse functions.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel user.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• 1 year warehouse/customer service experience (asset).
• Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP (asset).

Responsibilities

• Drive a van and 5-ton truck to complete assigned deliveries and pickups.

• Scan and process freight as per agreed procedures and Security Policies.
• Accurately sort and process inbound material by deadlines.
• Move freight within the warehouse area as required.
• Assist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands.
• Perform accurate reporting.
• Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area.
• Participate in maintaining a safe and cooperative work environment.
• Interact with customers over the phone and at the service point.
• Complete other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift Supervisor.

Wage:

$24.96/hour, increasing as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
