Job summary

East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC, is seeking a casual Clinical Practice Educator (RN) to support clinical excellence through education, mentorship, and professional development within a collaborative team.

As a casual employee, you will develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for direct care nursing staff, conduct learning assessments, and coordinate learning plans. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to transition to permanent positions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Three years recent nursing experience in the designated clinical area, including two years in areas such as adult teaching and learning, clinical mentoring and preceptoring, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid BC Driver’s License as required.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for direct care nursing staff.
• Provide learning assessments and opportunities for individual and group learning.
• Collaborate with teams to promote quality practice and continuous education.
