Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a dynamic Lounge Server to provide an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced, high-energy setting. You will manage orders, serve beverages, and contribute to events and promotions while promoting guest loyalty.

Two years of high-volume dining experience, cash handling skills, and relevant certifications help you excel. Benefits include full benefits and opportunities across Canada’s 27 locations.

Qualifications

• Two years or more experience in a similar high-volume restaurant (casual dining) environment.
• Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register.
• Tourism, promotion, marketing, entertainment or event training experience preferred.
• Serving It Right certificate/Smart Serve/Proserve depending on region.
• World Host certification or similar customer service program preferred.
• Proven selling, marketing, and service skills in dining, retail or promotions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and demonstrates expert knowledge of products, events and promotions.
• Takes orders, expedites and serves food and beverages accurately within time guidelines.
• Participates in promotional activities including social media, events and photo sessions.
• Introduces or presents live entertainment as required.
