Job summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a Security position responsible for the safety of team members, guests, and assets. You will enforce access control, perform patrols, and assist in incident reporting.

The role requires flexible availability, a minimum of 2 years' experience, and relevant certificates. You will coordinate with departments and support a welcoming, secure casino environment.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Serving it Right Certificate.
• Security license an asset.
• Guard Force Training an asset.
• Occupational First Aid Level 2 Certificate an asset.
• Willing to recertify every 3 years for Use of Force Certification.
• Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, documents and reports on violations, hazards, or suspicious activities.
• Enforces restricted access by unauthorized persons.
• Observes transactions, pulls, fills, transfers, etc.
• Escorts cash/cash equivalents.
• Tags and reports found property to Lost and Found.
• Conducts regular patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Escorts guests and team members as directed.
• Performs identification checks as required.
• Refers disputes to the Supervisor, Security.
• Performs crowd control as directed.
• May perform electronic surveillance of non-gaming facilities.
• May enroll guests in the Self-Exclusion Program.
• Liaises with operational departments and builds relationships with guests and team members.
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
