Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Canada is seeking a cashier supervisor for a part-time role in Granby. You will oversee department operations, supervise staff, and ensure customer service standards are met.

As a cashier supervisor, you will manage day-to-day tasks, coordinate inventory and pricing, and lead a small team to deliver efficient service while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as cashier with leadership skills.

Responsibilities

What might a typical day look like?

As cashier supervisor, you will be expected to:

• perform various management activities within the department department in collaboration with the Department Manager;
• in collaboration with the department manager, ensure the management of purchases, inventories, P.L.U. price lists and respect the sales per hour/person in order to ensure business readiness;
• train, evaluate and motivate the members of his team and carry out the various operations related to the accounting of the cash registers (money transfer, deposits, controls, weekly verifications, etc.).
