Job summary

The University of Victoria's University Food Services unit is seeking a part-time Cashier to support daily dining operations. You will set up the cash register, handle cash, provide change, and issue receipts, with varied shifts Mon-Fri including mornings, evenings and weekends.

You will also assist with stock, monitor meal passes, and help train new cashiers. A Level 1 Food Safe certificate is required and prior cashiering experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous cashiering experience is required.
• Ability to handle cash accurately, provide receipts and maintain records.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation.
• Ability to learn routines related to food preparation and service.
