Job summary

Vaco/Highspring is seeking an Accounting Administrator for a fast-paced environment in the Greater Toronto Area. You will handle high-volume payment processing, apply payments to invoices, and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires 2+ years in AR or cash applications, strong Excel and ERP system skills, and the ability to work independently in a repetitive transactional setting while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Accounts Receivable or cash applications.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments to invoices.
• Post EFT, ACH, wire, cheque and credit card payments.
• Match payments to customer accounts/invoices.
• Research unapplied cash and payment discrepancies.
• Review remittance details and reconcile customer accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate posting.
