Job summary

FWS Group of Companies is seeking Carpenters to join our collaborative team. The role focuses on concrete formwork, falsework, reinforcement, and finishing, with responsibilities reading drawings and building to specifications. Candidates will supervise labourers and ensure safety in operations.

The position requires carpentry experience or an Apprenticeship enrollment, a valid driver's license, and a 14/7 rotation with time away from home. Pre-access drug and alcohol testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Appropriate level of carpentry experience or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Must be able to work a 14/7 work rotation with extended time away from home.
• Own and maintain basic trade tools.
• Pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the department and Superintendent.
• Proficient knowledge of concrete formwork and falsework, reinforcing, placing, and finishing.
• Read and understand construction drawings and build to drawings and specifications.
• Supervise labourers and resources as required.
