Job summary

Clark Builders in Fort McMurray is hiring Carpenters to perform concrete formwork and general carpentry on commercial sites. You will read drawings, set up forms, and work with a team under supervision.

This safety sensitive role requires endurance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime outdoors in varying weather. Apprenticeship or Journeyperson cert preferred. Competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete formwork and carpentry on commercial/industrial sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Must have 1st–4th year apprenticeship or Journeyperson certification; asset for candidates.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Erect/install and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps and barricades.
• Build footings, walls, column forms, slabs, stairs and parapets.
• Read drawings and follow supervisor instructions; perform carpentry tasks.
• Install precast units, framing, exterior trims and interior doors.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and log tasks and hazards.
