Job summary

Best Choice Form Rental Ltd. is seeking a skilled carpenter for on-site construction work in Langford, BC. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, assemble structures and install components on residential sites.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, a secondary school diploma, and the ability to supervise small teams. This is permanent full-time employment with morning to evening shifts and weekend options.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites; supervise other workers.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures.
