BASA INDUSTRIES CORPORATION in British Columbia seeks a skilled construction professional to join our on-site teams across multiple locations. You will read blueprints, prepare layouts, and oversee prep for foundations, walls, and roofing.

The role involves measuring and cutting materials, installing windows and doors, coordinating site work, and mentoring apprentices. This position requires 1-2 years' experience and the ability to travel to project sites.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or related fields.
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.

Mansioni

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts conforming to building codes using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join timber and other materials
• Prepare tenders and quotations
