Job summary

Harbour X Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled carpenter for on-site work across BC. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and building foundations, walls and roof systems.

You will supervise 3-4 workers, travel to various locations, and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors at heights and in noisy environments. Applicants should have a secondary school certificate and 2+ years of experience in construction, with excellent communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and drawings to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Supervise 3-4 workers on site.
