Job summary

Braybrook Projects Ltd. in British Columbia seeks an experienced carpenter to perform layouts, framing, and finish work on residential and commercial sites. You will work on-site at various locations and ensure work aligns with building codes.

The role requires at least five years of experience, a Carpenter Trade Certification and Red Seal, and the ability to teach apprentices. You must have own transportation and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience on-site.
• Ability to read building layouts and measure layouts per codes.
• Ability to instruct apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts according to building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials (wood, wood substitutes, steel).
• Build foundations, install floor beams, subflooring, walls and roof systems.
• Fit/install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
• Survey building locations and levels.
• Instruct apprentices.
