Job summary

Milano Doors and Mouldings is seeking an on-site carpenter to perform a wide range of carpentry tasks at our Edmonton location. You will measure, cut, shape and join materials, install windows, doors and mouldings, and help erect walls and roofs.

The role requires 1 year to <2 years of experience in carpentry, strong on-site work ethic, and good English communication. You will coordinate site work and may instruct apprentices while supervising other workers.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of carpentry or related building experience.
• On-site work at the physical location with no remote option.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials as directed.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
• Instruct apprentices.
• Supervise other workers.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various facilities.
