Job summary

Luxuria Homes seeks an experienced carpenter to join on-site teams across Alberta. You will read blueprints, measure and cut, assemble and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, and supervise other workers.

The role requires 3–5 years of carpentry experience, a secondary school diploma, and willingness to relocate. This on-site position includes relocation assistance and opportunities to work on residential and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs.
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Supervise other workers.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
• Supervise apprentices and bench workers.
