Job summary

Energy Job Shop is seeking Journeyman Framing Carpenters to join our team for projects around Burwash Landing, Yukon. You will perform framing carpentry duties on dynamic construction sites, maintain safety standards, and work with a team to ensure quality results.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of carpentry experience, a Journeyman Carpenter Ticket preferred, and relevant safety certifications. Travel and long hours may be required, with FIFO from Western Canadian hubs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience with a strong carpentry focus.
• Journeyman Carpenter Ticket preferred.
• Valid safety certifications (First Aid, CSTS, WHMIS, Work Hub Orientation, etc.) are assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing carpentry on construction projects.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of construction experience with a strong carpentry focus

• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working outdoors
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as needed
• Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test if required
