Job summary

Wolfcreek is hiring a full-time Caretaker for Iron Ridge campuses in Blackfalds, AB. On-the-Job training provided. Shift runs 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Duties begin January 1, 2027 and involve cleaning, maintenance, and light physical tasks.

The position requires the ability to work evenings, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate basic cleaning equipment. Schools will provide benefits as described in the offer.

Position

• Full-time 1.0 FTE Caretaker position


• Located at Iron Ridge Junior, Iron Ridge Intermediate and Iron Ridge Secondary Campus in Blackfalds, AB.


• On-the-Job training will be provided to the successful candidate


• Shift time is 2:00 P.M. to 10:30 P.M.


• Duties to commence January 1, 2027

Salary & Benefits

• Hourly salary range: $21.56 -$24.81/hr. based on experience, with opportunities for annual wage advancement.

Qualifications

• Physically able to preform all required duties, including but not limited to; lifting, bending climbing ladders, moving furniture, operating equipment, and snow shoveling


• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs


• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions


• Basic computer skills to access email, order forms and work orders


• Ability to maintain respectful relationships with coworkers, school staff, students, and the public


• Previous experience in all aspects of cleaning and maintaining a school would be considered an asset
