Job summary

ComForCare Home Care Saskatchewan in Yorkton, SK is seeking casual Caregivers / Personal Support Workers to join a growing team. The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship within clients\' homes.

We offer training, flexible scheduling, and 24/7 caregiver support. Shifts vary by client needs; no hour guarantees, making it ideal for dependable, compassionate individuals who value client dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• One year of caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care setting.
• CCA certification is an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required.
• Clear criminal record check including vulnerable sector check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
• Dependability and ability to work independently with the care team.
• Commitment to client dignity, privacy, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing and hygiene.
• Support safe mobility, transfers and prescribed ROM exercises.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands using approved transportation.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Offer respite support for family caregivers.
• Follow care plans, document care provided, and report changes promptly.

Your Role
